“A wicked messenger falleth into mischief: but a faithful ambassador is health.”  Proverbs 13:17
I was born in 1951, and at birth I was affected by a cataract in my right eye and a very strong myopia in my left eye, nothing having been done before I entered elementary school so these eye problems only worsened and an attempt at laser treatment in 1988 caused a haemorrhage, disrupting the vision of detail in my only valid eye. Then since 2010 a cataract started to take over this eye. At my last visit to the ophthalmologist, we agreed on surgery. We prayed and thanked the Lord that he would take control of this operation. The request was submitted at the global prayer meeting that took place on Saturday, April 23 and the Lord heard the prayer of all the saints. I went to the clinic without ceasing to ask the Lord for his presence during this operation. Just before going down to the operating room, I was drowsy and I woke up and saw an unusual shape: a golden colored block was coming and going in my field of vision whereas usually it is some kind of dark filaments that disturb my sight. This was for me the sign that God was with me; I therefore left very serenely for the operating room.
As soon as I woke up, I was able to thank Jesus because I could see the light again. Since then I have not stopped praising him because my vision has improved to the point that without glasses, my eyesight is better than it has ever been in the past, I went from a -17 to -3 and I consider driving again after having stopped for 10 years. I will never be thankful enough to the Lord for what He is doing in my life and I will praise Him constantly. He knows everything about me, He knows my needs, He meets them. While I wait for his return, I will always testify to what he is doing for me and my loved ones. May he be praised and glorified for ever and ever.
